Nexii’s concrete alternative creates low carbon, disaster-resilient buildings with healthy materials and near-zero construction waste. 

Brought in by venerable CEO with many exits, Steve Sidwell, we were tasked through strategic alliances, smart media relations and thought leadership to heighten awareness and grow the Nexii brand globally. Today, Nexii is a unicorn that’s scaling rapidly and assembling sustainable buildings across North America.

Misfit Toys spearheaded all conference relations, awards submissions, media relations, trade relations, strategic partner introductions, partner, board appointment and funding announcements. 

Misfit Toys deployed a multi-prong approach securing prominent feature coverage across Fast Company, New York Times, Grist, CNBC and more, campaigning to secure accolades and awards such as Fast Company’s Most Innovative, and an aggressive trade campaign that put Nexii on the map with key industries prompting lead generation and awareness of Nexii as an innovative partner for a more sustainable future.
