Diane Briskin spent just under two decades overseeing the thriving Lifestyle and Hospitality group at DKC where she grew a team of six employees and ten accounts into a multi-million dollar specialty practice comprising 40 employees servicing over 75 accounts. The consumer facing accounts that she oversaw ranged from hotels, real estate, destination attractions, restaurants, nightlife, airlines, and cruise ships, to health and wellness, fitness, fashion, beauty, and consumer packaged goods.

Diane started Misfit Toys at the beginning of 2019, in an effort to refocus on what she loves most about the communications field—the clients—and executing strong creative thinking that generates great results.

Prior to joining the agency side of the business in 2002, Diane was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing who launched W Hotels, responsible for all advertising, public relations, and sales and revenue management for the brand. As one of W Hotels’ first hires, her work was instrumental in developing and implementing one of the most successful launches in the history of the hospitality industry and helped to form what has become known as the signature W style of marketing—a seamless blend of advertising, publicity, experiential, and influencer seeding.
